Denoix Suspensoronion Shoe SO

Description

The Suspensor Onion Shoe designed by Dr. Jean-Marie Denoix, is designed for the horse with a defect of fetlock support and low pastern axis. The center of pressure of this shoe is moved in a plantar direction reducing the lever arm on the fetlock, especially during the mid-stance phase of the stride. This helps horses with elongation of the flexor tendons and suspensory ligaments. The wide toe has a dorsal bevel to move the ground force reaction toward the heel. Onion heels support the plantar aspect of the foot. There is not a bar which allows frog contact with the ground. Indications: Suspensory ligament failure with elongation and defect of fetlock support with low pastern axis.

Available in sizes 4-12 from ½" aluminum stock.

Sold as eaches.
